[06.45.59] Phase I, PREPARATION completed in 5 minutes.

It is too much to rebuild this dvd without Half-D1 option , I get weird results , so I decided to back it up with it on. As the log shows now I get oversizing for the main movie (61.8%+(66.5% of 61.8%))=102.9% of original. Is it possible -in this case- to keep the main movie as is and reduce only extras ?
Or to get some bitrate from Main Movie and redistribute it to extras? I know of RB-Opt , but it doesn't work well with 1.00RC3 so I can -at least- modify the .ecl and .inf manually , but I'm not sure I'm capable of.
I accept suggestions!!! :thanks:

There's nothing wrong with having to use Half-D1 in order to maximize allocated bitrate, but how about trying Half D-1 without stealing a full 50%? Half D-1 and Half-Space is only one option. You can make any VTS Half-D1, and only steal 10% if you choose. Just do them as seperate entries. Make whichever VTS's you choose Half-D1, then steal whatever percentage from all extras(as a seperate step) that gives your main movie the desired bitrate. You can make it Half-D1 Quarter-space if you want, you just have to do it manually.

Do you mean I can use BilinearResize(352,258) instead of (352,576) on some VTSs without problems (with BitRate re-arranging of course) ?

Under Options>AVS Options>Advanced Options you can choose to resize any or all VTS to Half D-1, then steal any amount from Extras necessary to achieve desired Main Movie bitrate.

Yes , I know about it . I was thinking about to reduce some extras to 352x288 (Quarter D-1) to gain some more bitrate for main movie and more interesting Extras !!! Thanks Anyway :thanks: :thanks:

Just for the record... the new release of RB-Opt is supposed to be compatible with the Rebuilder PRO :)
