Hi everyone

just got myself a capture card and I plan to make some movies using video game footage I record onto VHS.

i've been mucking around just testing and I always have fast audio, it's high pitch and way out of sync, so much the audio ends 75% into what i've captured.

I'm totally new to this, i've tried changing my settings (framerates etc, i'm in PAL land) but can't get rid of the problem.

i'm sure it's something simple, any suggestions are hugely appreciated.

cheers!

Hello, and welcome to the forum.

What hardware and software are you using to capture? What codec is used for sound capture?

A little more information from you will make it much easier for us to provide assistance.

THe capture card is an el cheapo, don't know if you have aldi where you are but I got it from there, Tevion brand but it's actually a philips Cap713x.

I've tried capturing with PVR tools which is the software I got with the card, i've also tried Virtual dub after reading a few tutorials on this site... same results though.

Not sure about audio codec, but it's set to PCM in the settings.

Thanks for the welcome :)
