x264 CLI: a switch for fast first pass?

Instead of always wondering about fast first pass flags, could it be easier to have a commandline parameter to activate it? So each new versions of x264 can set internally what to use using the other flags set to make a fast first pass?

I think a cli fast first pass option does help people who are new to the encoder, but still want/need to use the command line. Actually a "turbo mode" was recently added to mencoder as x264 parameter, and it seems to work as expected. I wouldn't object one in the x264 cli either.
