I've searched and searched and can't seem to find the answer on how to convert .mp4 to .iso or even .avi. The programs that I use are DIKO, DVD SHRINK and DVD DECRYPTER. They all work well with .iso files, but now that I have an .mp4 file I'm not sure what to do with it. PLEASE HELP!

I get an error that says "Couldn't locate decompressor for format 'H264' (unknown).

I get this same error when using virtualdub and DIKO.

i'm really lost, could anyone please tell me how I can get this .mp4 onto dvd using dvd shrink and decrypter like I always do. I'm not sure what I am doing wrong.

How did you make the mp4? and why do you want to put it on a dvd? your better off just using the original source.

He's right. *.mp4 really is a good container. You can use MP4Box to losslessly convert the AVC in the mp4 to avi.
