No error while encoding. I'm on rev280 + SSE2.
:scared:
[edit]
fixed: needed raw colorspace decoder (prior encoding).
[edit]
unfixed. endoging: x264 -o output.mp4 input.abi worked, but using realanime with more settings failed.

I can confirm that it crashed for me too. BTW, is the video supposed to be all gray, or is that also part of the glitch?

the SSE2 v3 patch had alignment problems.
in 281A a new version (v4) of the patch was applied.

What was that?
Audio logs, which were encoded after the video. Producer say 1 error but output is #1.
I tryed with MMX version (280 from the sticky), same problem. I'm confused...
Source is MKV (xvid, mp3, 2xSSA). it's been extracted to AVI, MP3, 2xSSA and all track encode separatly. x264.exe doesn't return any error and encode normally.
[edit]
Trying 281A.
Sirber

Failed. :(
Does the clip play with other AVC decoders?
Sirber

I encoded an AVI at work and at home, and it worked. I'm testing more to see if it's MKV (extracted to AVI) specific.

AVS playback fixed.
Encoding from AVI directly (via AVS) works #1. With tme same settings, encoding from an AVI which was extracted from MKV, via AVS, produce gray.
Sirber
28th July 2005, 20:21
Seems to be realanime issue. extracted avi, encoded alone (not in MKV encoding process) works #1.

threads 1 is default, so is merange 16 ;) and sombody is using way too many filters..
And DirectShowSource with an avi? Come on.. there's been so many problems reported in this very forum. And a DSS without fps is evil.

or AVI or Avisynth if compiled with AVIS support (yes).
