DivX6 and thumbnails

After I installed DivX 6, most of my DivX 5 encoded video fail to show thumbnails on Windows Explorer. And to make thing worse, the process explorer.exe also doesn't close the file handler for the Video files which thumbnails fail, so I need to restart explorer.exe everytime I want to move/delete those files.

Anybody notice this problem? any fix for this?

PS: I'm using Windows XP SP2.

no more annoying thumbs and no more locked files.

therse`s also a patch available called "XP .avi fix", so windows doesn't read avis in explorer, preventing those nice fx with explorer.exe :rolleyes:
