Vegas 6 and TMPGEnc Audio

If I encode any videos with TMPGEnc 3 and the AC-3 plugin, Sony Vegas 6 will only recognize the video - is there anyway round this? Many thanks.

None of the vegas versions will do anything but encode ac3 if you have the plugin.

That said, you *might* be able to get it to work if you have DVDA installed, & in the window's registry tell Vegas what filter to use when it encounters ac3. Diving into the Vegas sections of the registry a few years ago for example, I was able to tell Vegas to open vob files directly. But, it's been a few years (since v.3 intro), so I can't give any more info or specifics then that.
