USING ANYDVD WITH APARTICULAR DVD IT COMES UP WITH THE FOLLOWING REASONS WHY IT WONT RUN

YOUR DRIVE IS REGION LOCKEDRPC DRIVE ,WHICH DOES NOT ALLOW READING OF SCRAMBLES SECTORSFROM A DIFFERENT REGION,AND YOU TRY TO READ A DVD FROM A DIFFERENT REGION.

YOUR DRIVE IS RPC2 DRIVETHAT HAS NOT BEEN ASSIGNED A REGION,TRY TO ASSIGN IT ONE.
IAM USING A PIONEER 109 OR WHAT I THOUGHT WAS 109 TILL I RANG PIONEER ONLY TO FIND THEY DID PRODUCE THEM BUT FOR A GERMAN COMPANY TO SELL ON AS THERE OWN SO NO FIRMWARE UPDATES AND A 108 WHICH WONT EVEN RECOGNISE THE DISC

ANYONE HAVE ANY SOLUTIONS,OH YES AND VOBBLANKER,DECRYTTER,SHRINK DONT EVEN WANT TO KNOW

Have you been into the drive's settings in windows and seen what region it is locked to? You can try DVD Genie that will allow you you to play even if your drive is region locked.

it will play using power dvd on the 108,but nothing i have will rip it

Try installing and running DVD drive region-free applications, such as DVD43 (For Free) (http://www.dvd43.com/).

ihave always been led to believe that anydvd does the same thing as dvd43

Then try using a different ripper, such as DVDFab Decrypter 2.9.3.0 (http://www.dvdidle.com/free.htm)....

thanks for you help.have come to the conclusion that it is probably just a bad disc,was only going to back it up for a friend anyway
