I always watch films in my computer, but now I have a Samsung DVD Player who plays DivX/XviD. Some of my movies (XviD movies) have problems to play in Samsung (image freeze for seconds, little "jumps" like image in "slow motion", films donīt load or load but donīt run) and so I reject it; this problem occurs in random parts of the film, not in all. In the discussion forums in Brasil, I heard the Samsung player have incompatibilities with movies encoded in XviD, not all.
One day, I saw in AutoGK forum a new version with new XviD version codec, and I installed it and re-encoded one of those troubles movies..... and works!! Now I can watch that movie in Samsung player with no more problems.
Today, I try to re-encode another one with the same problem. I solve the video problem but the audio was not syncronized with video. Video plays seconds before audio. Re-encode again... and problem persists. What is wrong? The movie is Banlieue 13 XviD 592 x 320 25 fps. audio MP3 48000 Hz 131 Kb/s 2 ch. Lame 3.90 and I use AutoGK in auto mode output audio type.

Hello and welcome to the forum,

Video plays seconds before audio.

Perhaps there was a delay set for the audio in the original AVI that wasn't taken into account when you reencoded it. This assumes that the delay is the same all the way through the movie, and doesn't get worse. If this happened only that one time, you can fix it by adding a delay to the audio in NanDub or VDubMod, and then saving it again. You'll Direct Stream Copy it, so you won't be reencoding either the audio and the video.
