Hi,
I'm not sure what forum I should post it... I have the DVD that I made myself a while back. I used 48kHz WAV for LPCM soundtrack. The DVD just has 1 title.
My original WAV file that I used for this DVD is gone. Now I'd like to extract the bit for bit accurate WAV file from this DVD. I couldn't find any tools that do it. Any clues? Thanks.

I'm not very good at audio encdoing (not with any encoding actually), although DVD Decryptor can demux audio from dvds.
Mode -> IFO -> Mark the chapters -> Stream Processing -> Enable -> Select what you want -> Demux -> Decrypt-button
That will give you a wav file (at least when i just tried it on one of my dvds. Although doesn't know if it's bit for bit accurate.
Sorry.

Donald Graft's DGIndex (http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?t=97534) should be able to extract your WAV stream.
Just load in the required VOB or VOB's and select the appropriate audio de-mux options.
Cheers

Thank you. Now what is the difference between Direct Stream Processing, Demux and Raw?
Actually, I also checked SmartRipper and it also has options you mentioned. It has Direct Stream Copy, Demux to extra file and Extract to new Vob. Extract to new and Direct Stream Copy both have options of mapping Map to and the list that starts from 0xA0 to 0xAF. What are these? In DVD Decrypter only Direct Stream Copy has mappings (same from 0xA0 to 0xAF)

I looked at DGIndex before, however, I couldn't find the way to extract WAV. First off, in Audio options there's Output method that has: Demux and Decode. Demux lists AC3, MPA, DTS, AAC, but it doesn't list WAV. Decode says Decode to WAV (AC-3, LPCM). But Decode is not accurate bit for bit copy, is it?
And now, the second and the most important thing... How do I actually do anything in DGIndex? I didn't find any buttons to perform any actions. Preview and Play don't save to files....
Thanks.
