How fast do the rest of you encode? I still find 20Fps encoding rate painfully slow.
at 720x480 @ 30Fps, encoding from .VOB to Divx 5 (slowest setting) with 700Kbs bitrate, my computer encodes at 8-12Fps.
1.8Ghz amd athlon 64 winchester
1024Mb ram
Windows xp
80Gb 7200rpm SATA drive
I used to do my encoding on a 500Mhz amd computer, which seemed to take ages.
