View Full Version : Error when trying to use "Decomb" (De-interlacing)

Hi
I use the latest build of DVDRB. This movie needs to be de-interlaced with the "Decomb" option.
When I try to encode this PAL movie without "Decomb" ticket it works with no problems at all.
When I try with the "Decomb" option ticked it gives me the following error when starting encode:
"Frame Size 816x56 is not supported. Supported frame is 720x576"
It is Independence Day (R2) and I used the installer for Dvdrb.
I use CCE2.67 Trial
Note that I only get the problem when Decomb is checked...
Any ideas???

It's an AVISYNTH error. My guess is the DECOMB isn't installed or the link isn't set in the SETUP screen.

I can't find a way to set the link for it in the setup screen. It was possible many versions before but not now?
But the decomb521 file is placed in the pluging directory of Avisynth though

Strange I just re-installed the hole thing
When I open the .avs file i see this:
DECOMB=C:\Programmer\DVD-RB PRO\Filters\Decomb521.dll
But there is no "filters" folder present i the DVD-RB dir????
Might be a install error somehow - What do you think Jdobbs?
EDIT: I manually changed the directory in the .ini file to the Decomb file in avisynth plugin directory. Saved the file.
That worked

@eriksen76
If I'm not mistaken, you should be able to set the correct path to Decomb under the [PATHS] section of your Rebuilder .ini file from your installation directory.

True, thats what I ment by my previous post. The installer does something wrong when installing Decomb. Tried re-installing 3 times now.

I'm sorry... maybe there's something wrong with the installer... I'm going to check that up and correct the problem.
I remember that, on a first version Decomb was supposed to be installed under a Filters directory... but after some conversations with jdobbs we decided that it was, for now, better to put it on AviSynth Plugins folder... and somewhere in the process I must have forgot to update the Rebuilder's INI file...
Anyway... it will be corrected on the next version (if it is really wrong... I haven't checked yet).
keep it UP

Yes... that's right... my mistake :o
It's fixed... next release won't bring up this problem.

No problem, Beta versions are made for VIP members help finding small bugs/solutions for improvements.
Just glad to help :)
