I seem to have the problem from FAQ Q4 which is:

"I set everything up -- but nothing seems to happen and/or I get video that is a black screen with orange/red lines at the bottom"

I have tried every possible method to solve it ......i have used dgdecode.dll and mpeg2dec3.dll.....the different versions of these but had no luck. I have tried it thru the setup button by changing path to decoder from dg to mpeg2...when both dfecoders were under the plugins folder and also the RB folder......i cant seem to figure it out. I am using retail version of CCE 2.67.00.27. I am using DVD-RB RC 2

I have also tried avisyth 2.5.5 and 2.5.4 ......still no luck.....anyone have any ideas???

@caprioles9000
If you are using the PRO version... you should have got a Download link for the PRO Installer... if you use the Freeware version... use the Freeware Installer available on the Downloads section on the link jptheripper posted... or... check on my signature :D

As suggested, uninstall DVD-RB and AVISynth, you must use the installer, it puts everything where it needs to be

Install AVISynth first though otherwise, unless its been included in the latest installer, the installer will stop and tell you that AVISynth isn't installed

The red lines across your output video is frequently a problem with filters used in avisynth, have you installed any filters and set them up in the filter editor. Some filters that avisynth can use need other filters installed as well to work correctly

Also make sure you are calling the filter correctly
