The thing is, I try using WinDVD Creator 2 and the file size goes to more than 5G. This program does not do dvd biger than 5G.
There is another program that i can use to do it.
Thanks,

I'm new at this too, but have found that converting the avi to dvd with Cucusoft AVI-DVD-S/VCD...then using Cucusoft's MPEG to DVD Author works well. If it's still too big, use DVD Shrink. The quality won't be great, but it'll work.

My opinion is to use an encoder on the avi file first.
I use CCE with svcd2dvd. I have put 3 hour movies onto dvd-r 4.7 and not noticed any real difference in quality.
Just my 2cents

It depends on what you're planning to do with the final product. You can compress the movie files to an .avi, or you can burn the movies playable on a standalone DVD player. AutoGK for the first one, DVDShrink for the second. All the details are under GUIDES on the home page.

To convert avi, bin and mpg's (as well as Pal to Ntsc) I use SVCD2DVD, Shrink to edit and Decrypter or Nero to burn.
