Hi, first post here, so bear with me ;)

Got a dvd with 3 episodes from a show. But there's a button in the menu that plays all 3 episodes one after each other (a "play-all" button).
In DVD Decrytper and DIF4U it shows as 4 PCGs where the 4th is a very large one.

My question(s):
No point in me ripping and encoding the 4th OCQ that's some sort of "link" between the 3 episodes, right?
If no, then a Play-All button is still present in the menu, but can this be manipulated to have the same function as the original button? I.e. linking the 3 PCGs together in scenarist?

Thanx in advance

Welcome to the forum.
The menu button will still function as the original did. The menu is not touched by DIF4U (Unless NuMenu is used - but that will recreate the menu exactly), so no need to worry about that.

It is difficult to say what needs to be done w/out knowing the PGC structure, but, if pgc1-3 are the episodes and pgc4 is ALL the episodes together, then select PGC4, and deselect pgc1-3. In the final compile PGC1-3 will be created from PGC4. (If you right click the VTS in DIF4U, it will open up IFOEdit. If the vobids/cells used in PGC1-3 are all present in PGC4 then the above is true.
If you are unsure of the 'path' that the DVD is taking, open the DVD in PGCEdit and using its' trace facility, you can follow the path of the DVD (through every PGC - very useful)
The 'link' is probably no more that a post command in the PGC Command table, that tells the player to play the next PGC automatically.

ifoedit

open the relevant .ifo in ifoedit eg VTS_0X.IFO then hit 'copy2clipboard'.
paste into a suitable text editor and remove the non-essential data, then post in code quotes

It does look like the vob ids from the first 3 pgcs are in the forth...?

As vobid1,2,3 are also used in PGC4 it's enough to demux pgc4. Scenaid will be able to recreate all pgcs based on this pgc4. If you have the latest dif4u (the vip version), selecting the correct pgc (and deselecting the others) will be done automatically.

All menu functions will work as they already did of course. It should all work pretty straight forward.

Good luck.
