I killed my divx5/6 codec in order to install the free XviD 1.1 beta2 codec. I tried to encode a recent sandra bullock film with file size 702 mb, but the result has ca. 380 mb. In addition there is a bad quality beginning at timestamp 4:55, so as if the second pass stopped there to work (like "first pass" credits with divx5)...

My G'knot log is eclosed.

Thanks.

EDIT: added first and second pass logs

Hi-

I'm not too good at reading those First Pass Settings, but it looks to me like you may have something entered in the Zones. If you have anything in there besides one line with Frame #=0, Weight/Quant=W 1.00, and Modifiers=K, get rid of it.

If you're not sure how to check the Zones, open VDubMod, and then go Video->Compression->XviD MPEG-4 Codec->Configure. It'll be in the middle of the box that shows up.
