Hi Jerry, I know you are close to making a final release of the version 1.00 Pro and I hope this works out well.
I have a small question and a feature request for future versions of DVD-RB Pro and wondered if it could be considered.
I use CCE for my backups and have a question with the OPV prediction that DVD-RB Pro supports.
As it stands presently, if I goto: Options>CCE Options>One Pass VBR (w/analysis).
Would it in future releases be possible to add another sub menu after the One Pass VBR (w/analysis) option to include two more options such as:
One Pass VBR (w/analysis)>Movie Only, Movie & Extras
I think this would be good as then we could have OPV prediction for the movie only and then use 2-pass VBR for all the extras and bonus matrial.
If introducing this to the code may cause more bugs & problems then please don't worry about it and i'm sorry for mentioning it.
However if it could be introduced I think this would be a fantastic addition to an already awesome DVD backup tool.
I would love to hear some feedback of other DVD-RB users with regard to this and get your points of view on this subject. :)

So it would enabled a complete disc backup, but OPV was used on the movie portion and multipass VBR on the rest of the disc? I don't think it would be that hard to implement -- but I'll have to look at it.

When I was intended to do so , I did it with RB-Opt.
It works well and if possible , I'd like to suggest an option to use OPV only with extras !

One thing I can't see is the advantages on that!?!?!
Wouldn't it be better the other way around?
OPV for extras and Menus and Multipass VBR for Main Movie?
Just a thought :D
edit:
@TuRiSOft
Would you mind to warm people when you are typing a post? :D :D

There's some logic to it. The prediction can get pretty inaccurate on small stuff -- but comes in pretty close on something as large as the main feature.

Didn't thought of that... I guess the "gluton for main movie quality" that lives in me spoke louder :D

Prediction (IMHO) can be accurate also when using it only on extras (and speeds up things also) .
@rockas : I don't like to warm people when posting , I used to do so many times before posting and I'll keep on doing so (encoding extras OPV) whenever I'd like to .
My only point was to share my experience with all here on the forum.
I'm sorry and apologize if someone misunderstood !!!!

This is the sort of thing I have encountered with extras with which are usually small, a bit inaccurate. In my experience anyway I prefer to use OPV for large files and for smaller VBR. :)
I usually use RB-Opt to do this for me, OPV for the main feature and 2-pass VBR for all the extras, for me also having a OPV for the movie speeds things up a bit also rather than wait for 2-passes.
The problem at present is RB-Opt doesn't support the Pro version so I have to revert back to the old Free version of DVD-RB when using this method, I know Robot1 is working on an update of his tool for the Pro version and I can't wait to do some tests on this when he releases it as I think it is an awesome add-on tool. :)

Yes Jerry, this is the idea I was thinking of. If would be great if you could implement it when you get the time of course. :) I think this would be a great feature for 1 Click backups also, especially for using the batch mode.
When I was intended to do so , I did it with RB-Opt.

I gues if Jerry could inplement it some time in the future then maybe to support your idea then maybe the options and sub-menu could be as such:
One Pass VBR (w/analysis)>Movie Only, Movie & Extras, Extras Only
This I suppose would satify every1 hopefully. :D
Thanks Jerry for considering this, I know your really busy with the finishing touches to the Pro version and my intention was not to distract you from that.
Hopefully some time in the future if you do get the time maybe you could look into it. :)
