what is the diference between ffdshow-20050703 and ffdshow-20050703MSVC71

MSVC71 might to have something to do with the compiler used, but the setup package for this version is 27% smaller! how will this impact codec performance?

This doesn't concern Audio...but you can expect some speed improvements for the different encoders with MSVC7.1.

anyway, so the msvc71 version does not affect decoding? and is there any drawbacks or should i always install this smaller ffdshow package?
