Is it just apparently reduced vertical resolution/vertically blurred, or are you Bobbing it yourself? What is the source? What is the frame rate? I believe that if it has just been Bobbed you would expect double a normal frame rate, i.e. 50p or 59.94p.

It may be that it has been badly bobbed and you can reconstruct the original non interpolated fields and apply a better Bob... but I doubt it.

The framerate is normal (23.976) but you can notice on several frame a stair effect with a blur wich reveal that it had been an interlaced video at begining.

I would like to separate the different field to retrieve the interlaced video as it once was, then try to desinterlace it more properly.

That sounds like it has been deinterlaced (e.g. 50i->25p) rather than bob-deinterlaced (50i->50p by expanding each field into a full frame) ... which means that the original fields aren't necessarily recoverable, at least by any method I know of. You could simply try passing the video you have into another deinterlacer, but I don't know what the effects would look like.

provide an UNPROCESSED video sample of at least ten seconds.

I do not like guessing things...

I really don't know how to do that using VFR raws.
EDIT : Actually a de-VFRed sample should do, I'm working on it.

Am I the only one here thinking (along the lines of rule #6) that that "VFR raw" didn't exactly originate from him?

The anime clip is a sample from the japanese animation "Full Metal Panic - The second raid".
As for the sample, I could say it is the only part of the video I have and that's I use it for educational purpose only, but I feel like ppl would act suspicious and never answer so let's fact the truth and end this : no it's not.
Thx anyway, so much for fansub.
