I'm trying to do avi2dvd. Done it many times, and it works just fine. Now I did some recoding of the audio myself (often do that as well) but named the audio file wrongly thus the muxing failed. But now when I choose to recover the only thing I can choose after "Video encoding" is "DVD Authoring" and "Finalize". If I choose "DVD Authoring" nothing happens. Why can't I choose "Muxing and cutting"? I really would like not to recode the whole movie again...

Thanks for any help.

Honest answer, I don't know why you can't select muxing and cutting.

Why not open your dvd2svcd_log.txt and copy/paste the mplex commandline into the Run option from the Windows start menu.

Let multiplexing take place then recover your project from DVD Authoring.

Alternatively there is a variable you can edit called "Project position" in th .d2s project file. I can't remember which numbers relate to what but a search might find some useful info.

Thanks Nick. Well tried all of that, but none of them did the job. Well yes I can do the muxing, but it's aparently not enough for completing. And editing "Project Position" gives me all kinds of weird results...

SO it's back to start...
