DVD-RB in its present way does not do anything about layer-breaks as it seems.

This was seen by several DVD´s getting a moment of still picture and/or no sound for a fraction of a second at indeed the point where layer's are to be switched.

When I preproces them with DVDSCHRINK which has a ´remove layer break´ feature setting ouput size to DVD9, so only the remove ´layer break´will take place and preselection of audio - sub, these things are gone and I get a 'nice' layer to layer pass by. It's isn't noticable in any way anymore.

Is it possible to build in the remove-layer-break feature into DVD-RB ?

I second this suggestion.

I agree. I have played around with alot of softrware lately and I find that DVD-RB is by far the best. Keep up the good work and make this software the best thing since sliced bread :)

The problem is that there really is no such thing as a "layer break" except at the physical layer on the DVD. What most people think of as a layer break is the System Clock Reference (SCR) discontinuity that is set at the time the layer break happens. Unfortunately there are lots of other good reasons to have an SCR discontinuity.

DVD-RB looks at the discontinuities, considers them, and if it is obviously related to a layer break -- it removes it. If there is any doubt, however, it remains.
