Hi there,I don't know if anyone tried this but I want to try to prepare fansubs using autogk. The procedure is like this:There is source raw anime (windows media 9 119.x fps/vbr audio) and normally I use vdub to hardcode subs onto it and re-encode it to xvid (at a lower filesize and lower dimensions).I know the quality will be worse but we are use to it and it doesnt look that bad.The thing is the subtitles we are using are several files and if I am not wrong AutoGk only accepts one external subtitle file for input. Is there a way to merge all this diferent subtitles ? (e.g. opening credits with different font place in the animation , karaoke -is ssa supported btw- in specific time and place in the video and all this subs in one file.) Can it be done ? Or is it possible to make AutoGK accept more than one external subtitle for input ?

I just want to see if it does encode the file better than my manual encoding. If this wont work than it isnt that important.

Sorry for my bad english. Not my mother language.

Hi-

1. I could be wrong about this, but I don't believe that AutoGK accepts WMV input. len0x will know. Another problem for you is that I don't think that AutoGK will take it down to 29.97fps or 23.976fps.
2. To merge SSA subtitle files, you can use Sub Station Alpha. What kind of a fansubbing group doesn't know about Sub Station Alpha?
3. Yes, AutoGK accepts SSA subs through the TextSub Plugin for AviSynth. But only one.
4. Your English is fine. :)
