Wondering if this approach would work, or if there was a better method that wasn't occuring to me.
What the situation is that I have a clip of a live action, low motion Japanese tv show that the original encoder did at 12fps. For most of it it doesn't look bad but the few bits with motion are slightly jerky and watching the whole show tends to give me a light headache. Have tried for over a month to find a better source but it's looking like I'm stuck with this one so I'm looking for help to make it more watchable. Telecining it up to 24fps was all I could think of that might help... I'd welcome any suggestions for a better fix or tips on how best to do this.
