i have a couple of svcds that i want to convert to dvd, now i know how to do this due to the format conversion guide on the home page. now what i wanna know is. is there an easier way maybe using a bat file or something to run all the programs automaticaly. i've tried using dvd2svcd with the settings reversed to output to dvd but with no success.

i think i could work it out but i don't know if things like vcdgear tmpgenc and ifoedit have commandline versions of them

thanks in advance

This will most likely receive more exposure to those that are capable of handling it over in the Basic Topics forum, where I'll now send it. Good luck.

2 ways spring to mind
1) Rip the MPEGs from the SVCD's with VCDGear or VCDEasy and author with DVD-Lab - it makes a non-standard DVD but your player will probably cope.

2) Rip the SVCD's as above. Copy an IFO file from another project to the folder you've ripped the MPEGs to. Set DVD2SVCD in DVD2DVD mode and select the copied IFO. It will complain it can't find the VOBs and ask you to select. Change the file type in the Browse... window from VOB to MPEG2 and add the two ripped files to your project. This sounds more complicated than it is - it's self explanatory when you try it. Let DVD2SVCD do its stuff and it should work fine.
