DVDAuthor failed for unknown reasons!
For details open: "C:\output1\DVDAuthor_log.txt"

This is the error everytime I try to convert an avi to dvd, recently had to install dvd2svcd again it completed one avi great and now it does this. I have reinstalled it and TMPGEnc Plus 2.5...still get this message. This avi converts great you can see the preview but then right at the end it wont get past this stage

Come on buddy, put some effort in!
Do a search for "unknown reasons" and find a deluge of threads (and answers!) on this issue.

To give you a clue it's either

a) You've got "Use source audio" checked in the Audio tab - only do this if your AVI has AC3 audio - if not, let DVD2SVCD convert the audio to a DVD-compliant format

b) You're using a drive formatted in FAT32 not NTFS. Since FAT32 can't handle files over 4GB (which your muxed file will be), authoring fails as the muxed file isn't created.
