What issues are you getting? VirtualDubMoD is one of the best utils available for your job. Don't just say "I can't get it to work", tell us what *exactly* is the issue so we can troubleshoot it. I can bet that you are not following the guide properly.

If the original file is XviD, then be sure to select "Direct stream copy".

Also remember you can only cut at keyframes (look for [K] under the timeline slider).

Or hold down shift when you drag the playhead/use the arrow keys, that will snap to keyframes. :)

Virutaldub requires a video for windows (VFW) compatible codec to decompress video. Directshow Codes, such as those used by windows media player, are not suitable ..


1. i got Directshow codes installed
2. and media player is working ...
