Hi,

Is there a way to do a compressibility test before to start the final encode with DVD-RB ? So, then I know if I have to use some filters or not.

Thanks.

But you can use it anyway... you won't be able to apply custom matrices but you can use it to test... just apply MPEG Standard Matrix... the final results won't be that different...
I'll update the tool so people can test segments without matrices.

I tried your program but I receive an error when I select the segment I want to test :

Run-time error '13':
Type mismatch

Can you make a full description on the Matrix Editor thread?
Every details are important 'cause I need to find a way to reproduce the error... I can't go to your house lol

Just post it on the Editor thread, ok?

I'm trying this too Rockas, and am getting these errors:

"Matrix folder wasn't found!! Please select a path to it"

"Run time error 713. Class not registered. You'll need the following file to be installed on your machine: MSSTDFMT.DLL"

problem is, I can't get the program's interface to open...so I can't set the path or anything else.

Oh! that famous MSSTDFMT.DLL
That's just a VB library... make a quick google on that you'll find it easy... put it on System32 folder and you'll be alright.

I guess I'll have to make an installer for the Editor.

Please... post all the bugs on the Editor thread or I'll be lost :D
