Hello!
I've written a avisinth filter : ExpSat (http://expsat.sourceforge.net)
As the name say, it's a filter which works on saturation by elevating its curve .. better to take a look on examples in the url !
Please comments! :thanks:

Hmmm... this filter looks interesting.. Maybe I could use it in my Matrix script... Take a look here (http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?t=97013). The current Matrix script destroys skin tones and such.

Hello brabbudu,

you can use YUV-colorspace as well (in the digital domian the correct term is Y'PbPr), you don't need to convert to HLS. Do you know a vectorscope? This is a x/y plot of the Pb an Pr component. The lenghts of a vector (0,0->Pb,Pr) is the saturation. So you get similar results by just manipulating Pb+Pr. Maybe you can gain speed if you use this method :)

Yes, but the hue selection is in the hls space!

http://expsat.sourceforge.net/ was all I saw. I had laser eye surgery last Thursday...maybe I should ask for my money back.

I would be pretty sure they figured it out sometime in the last 7.5 years since their post.
