DivX 6 and Zoom Player 4.5 doesn't work

does DivX 6 (Star Wars sample clip) generally not work in Zoom Player 4.5 or am I alone here?

edit: doesn't work in MPC either, only in WMP

Ok, lets say a few things about DIVX6:
1. Their splitter can override the AVI splitter and DOESN'T accept connections to decoders that are not DIVX (as in ffdshow).
2. Highly recommend using customized media mode for such problematic content.

reagrding VSFilter:
maybe if divx 6 has it's own splitter now, instead of the AVI splitter... in which case, VSFilter needs to be updated to recognize this splitter.

so there are some general problems with DivX6
