Everytime I open a file Zoom Player showing me a Zoom Player Professional advertisement nag window which is a very ugly bug that exist for a very long time. It has something to do with file extensions and that it was opened with the explorer shell I think. Such nags can be linked to the players location and version, I have no problem with that but please not to other things! I've seen that screen a thousand times and if I'm ever gonna stop using Zoom Player it will certainly because of this.

If you mean the white "Zomplayer Professional...Media(DVD) video" image at the start up of ZP...you can easily change or remove it:
If you want a black window instead: Goto the folder where ZP is installed and there you just need to delete the "mediaimage.bmp" file for media mode and/or the "dvdimage.bmp" for DVD mode.
If you want an other image instead, you just need to copy an other .jpg image in ZP's folder and rename it to "mediaimage.bmp" and/or "dvdimage.bmp"
Hope it helps.

no, I mean the window that is supposed to be shown only once when Zoom Player starts the first time, it even states that it won't show up again, I wish it would...

Strange, I have been using ZP Pro since the first release and I have never seen such a problem.
I sugest to uninstall/reinstall, otherwise post the same post in Blight's Zoomplayer support Forum to get help and hopefully to get rid of your problem:
