Hi,
last time i used my MiroPctv was on my P3/500 (BX chipset) without problems with huffyuv at 720x576x25 and btwincap. But today i tried the same with a K7/nforce2 on XP with btwincap and get this: Error Video (http://rapidshare.de/files/2873329/miropctv.avi.html) (2.8MB, XVID, 360x288x25 downscaled).
This occurs at recording only, only visible errors, no dropframes. Just watching is most of the time ok. CPU usage is low, pci slot changed, several codecs + fps tested. Nothing changes... its neither hdd throughput nor pci problem (PCI clock fix 33mhz, 32 clocks latency). I disabled acpi but no success either... now i have to reinstall xp. :)
I tried the card on another system K8/VIA. There are no pictureerrors but dropframes at equivalent positions (scene changes). I'm going to test this card on a 3rd system...
The errors look like a timing problem. The error lines are no trash data. They just have an offset (actual picture data).
I think either the card is damaged or btwincap may be obsolete for XPSP2...
Anyone else running a BT8xx card in XPSP2 with virtualdub and btwincap? Do you have any problems at 720x576(720x480)?
