@all,
Just a random idea, not not sure how I feel about it yet... what do you think about the idea of compiling a glossary of, for want of a better way to put it, "bad things that happen in video", together with pictures and a list of appropriate avisynth filters? An example based on a recent thread...

Possibly it would divert people from searching, which is not a good thing. To some extent it already duplicates things that already exist (for example, the analogue capture guide has an excellent description of rainbows), which is also not a good thing. Actually, the longer I think about this the less keen I am on it...
