Best way to test DivX 6?

Does anybody have suggestions for an all-in-one encoding app similar to AutoGK, but which *works* with Divx 6?

I'm no AVIsynth scripting wizard, and the Divx Converter produces the most dismal results - looking worse than Nandub, even. I really want to give 6.0 a fair chance, but AutoGK doesn't look set to support it anytime soon.
I don't care about the .divx media format, I just want to test out Divx 6 in a reasonably automated (and highest-quality) manner.

I don't know if it is best but look in the XviD thread for a product called AVI.NET, it has a very active thread. It is similar to AGK but works with Xvid, DivX5/6. I use it and like it.

But you can rip your DVD's into VOB's with DVD Decrypter and load them directly into MPEG Mediator, which works perfectly with DivX6, XviD, 3ivx, VP6, WMV9 VCM and any other VfW based codec ;)

-batch encoding, can line up multiple jobs
-Divx 6 compatible
-mostly automatic

Woohoo!! OK, never mind, I'd rather AutoGK than pretty much anything else..
ARcalculator *does* look interesting tho, I've played around with it and if there were English instructions I'd probably have a working encode soon :)

Did you notice the tooltips in AR Calculator? They are pretty useful and all in English.
