Is it at all possible to pause DVD Rebuilder and save the project and then load it back up again later to continue re-encoding?

Yes, i've done it several time without a problem. Just hit the pause, dvd-rb will ask you if you want to abort and next time, it will start back encoding the from the point you've paused

do you have to save the project first? How do you reload a paused project if you say shut your machine down?

thanks

I just press "pause" close DVD RB. When I start my pc up again I launch DVD RB and Press Encode, RB asks if you want to contiune, so I press Yes. It's that easy. It's a pitty you then can't select the one button option so you don't have to press Rebuild.

Hay I'm lasy! :)

hey thanks....

So to sum up:

1. Click pause/abort and hit yes when DVD-Rebuilder asks if you want to stop.

2. At some other time load up DVD-Rebuilder and hit encode...it automatically starts where you paused.

BUT....if you chose one-click in step one you LOSE this at step 2 and have to click "rebuild" (or whatever it is called in step 3) to finish up

this right?

thanks..if so will give a try

Actually, you misunderstood bteamfox. In order to resume, you MUST HAVE IT ON 3 CLICK MODE. 1-click will start way back at the beggining with prepare.

In 3-click mode, you must hit rebuild to finish the process, whereas in 1-click, you wouldnt have to normally. But you can't resume in 1-click so it's stupid to do that.

yah it sounded weird....so in 3 click mode I can pause the encoding and come back later I guess?

Yes correct :)

Also if you have started in 1 Click mode and then press abort if you wish to continue just turn of 1 click mode then press "Encode" and RB will ask you if you want to continue. :)

At this point it would be nice if you could then select 1 click mode again. Hope this clears things up.
