View Full Version : How To Create An Audio CD TAO ISO Image?

I have been creating DVD data ISO images of miscellaneous files, and burning these images to DVD-Rs using DVD Decrypter, and I have been very happy with the results. The discs read fine and can infact be read in a PC DVD drive that a couple of DVDs of the same media burnt with NERO could not be.

So now I would like to do the same thing for audio CDs. I have my wave files all ready, and would like to put them into an ISO image, in Track-At-Once format if that's possible, and the image should be able to be burnt to 700mb CD-Rs. Does anyone know of a program that can make an audio cd image from some waves? I am guessing the image might have to have a CUE file with it to specify the 2 second gaps. Would I have to manually create this CUE file or is there some utility that can generate an image and can make a CUE file as well?

Thanks a lot if anyone knows of a link for a realiable program - my point of doing this is that I would like to have more reliable burns and more compliant that might increase the number of drives that will play these audio CDs (which is also why I'm using Track At Once). Thankyou.

If you don't want to create an image using Nero Image Recorder in TAO mode
then take a look at this freeware and see if it does what you need:
