Hello! I am lost now. I used to use DVD Shrink reauther and then a program that changes vob files to avi.

Now I find more and more of my dvd's mess up (Hitch for example) and I want to be able to take clips (reauthor) so I can add them to my PowerPoints for my presentations that I give o my high school students.

What is my best option out there now?

Thanks,

Jeff

Is there a program where I can put the movie on the computer and then reathor it with DVDshrink (not being on cd or dvd)?

Welcome to the Forum:

Here's a link to a thread dealing with Video in PowerPoint (http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?t=71469&highlight=powerpoint)

See the Announcement at the top of the Newbies homepage.

I have the original clips. I am looking to just take certain parts to show in my PowerPoints. For example, I would just want a specific 30 second movie clip to put in my PowerPoint that has to deal with a topic that I am covering.

In dvd shrink I could reauthor the disc to take only the parts I needed. Now some dvds are not being able to be read in DVD Shrink. I am looking for the next best alternative.

I know abotu the MPEG-1 files (this would not be posted online so it does not apply). I am just looking to get certain clips on my computer.

Rip your problem discs first in DVD Decrypter in either File or .ISO mode, then pull the decrypted file up with Shrink.

If your problem persists, post the specific error message and title you're having a problem with, or run a forum-search, it's probably been discussed.
