Is it possible to change the default value that Scenaid uses for 'extras'? Right now, it seems to be set at 2000, but I would like to change it. This is the bitrate for 'extras', not the main movie bitrate that Scenaid calculates. I can't find where to do this? Please help. Thanks.
okay,
well after scan, click on one of the vtses buttons that show up on the main screen, this will bring up the assets for that vts.
you will see some dialog boxes showing bitrates for main movie and another for extras.
highlight the 'extras' bitrate and change it to what you want .eg type in 1800, then click into the main bitrate box and it should have been adjusted to suit.

Make sure as well that you go under the options for the encoder and select to use Scenaid's bitrates.. the default is to use Doitfast4u's

I'm not sure if i read this correctly but doesn't hoops mean a general setting to set the bitrate of extras (just as in dif4u)?

It's all the same... the on the fly setting for extras gets saved as current default... there is no other spot to set it
