Best re-encoder program?

hey guys i've been converting anime from avi to rmvb so far with easy realmedia 1.85. i thought it was the only program out there that did this until i stumbled here. so now i'm asking you folks who know SO MUCH MORE than i do about this process, which is THE fastest converter program...while leaving it with the same near-avi quality. so far naruto eps (ANBU related) takes me 1h:15m to convert 1 ep. now i've read about Helix and Realanime...out of these three which is better in terms of converting speed and quality. these are the only three that i know about but if there are other programs that you folks recommend i would appreciate it. thanks

RealAnime is an interface to Helix Producer. Only settings used will change speed.
