Im running 1.0 RC1, and i noticed something with segment blanking. After i ran prepare i went to blank out some segments in the Preview/Edit Tab. I selected the cell i wanted to blank, went up to the View/Edit menu to select the "Replace selected segment with BLANK VIDEO" which then set the cell as [BLANKED OUT]. Now if I move on to another cell (one that is untouched), select it, then go back up to the View/Edit menu, "Replace...with BLANK VIDEO" is still/already checked. All one has to do is click it again for the option to set it in, but would it be better to have nothing checked to avoid any confusion. ANother thing i noticed is if you try and do a BLANK VIDEO on a STILL FRAME, it will leave the "Convert selected segment to SLIDESHOW" option checked.
These things dont cause RB to malfunction at all so this is nothing major. Maybe for a future version one could have the ability to select multiple cells at once, to perform a mass BLANK OUT or what not. Probably in the way of CTRL+Click? That may be problematic though with the automatic preview play on selection so how about a checkbox to the left. That combined with the View/Edit options changed from 'selected' to 'checked'. Then for the 'selected' cell, the options would be in right-click. Thats probably way too much to ask for right now but for the near future at the very least could a new feature be implemented to right-click the segments and choose the current segment options from the View/Edit menu.
