Hi I am in the middle of converting divx to DVD. the movie is 2 files CD1 + CD2

I have used TMPGE Xpress and chose for my conversion

es (video+audio)

after converting both CD1 + CD2 I am left with 4 seperate files.

CD 1
aaf-pfccc2005.cd1.m2v (movie)
aaf-pfccc2005.cd1 (audio)

CD2
aaf-pfccc2005.cd2.m2v (movie)
aaf-pfccc2005.cd2 (audio)

How do I join CD1 + CD2 togther so then all I have to do is Aurthor the 1 file to DVD vob files ???

There was an option in TMPGEnc Xpress to join multi-part sources into one destination file during encoding...I guess you missed that! (Actually, that's the ONE feature of Xpress that I prefer over TMPGEnc Plus)

Your DVD authoring software should be able to do this for you when you choose the files to make your DVD.

Hello :)

If you really want to convert divx (2 cd) to DVD: 1st join the AVI, then encode.

Now, if you don't want to reencode:
TMPGenc 2.524 (freeware, another versions maybe),
Menu: File > MPEG Tools... >
1st: mux: m2v with audio (what type? for DVD: mp2, ac3, pcm)
2nd: Merge & Cut

Correct if i am wrong.

Bye
