Nicely done! I was surprised to see in my email that you now support ILVU. Though I just got my mail the other day I set off to test (one of) the BEST in Rock or Progressive ROCK DVD......RUSH (Live) in Rio, I own. Yeah, it's okay if not everyone agrees. :)
Anyway, I set it to CCE 2 VBR passes without an ISO being written so I could check it with MCP (Media Player Classic) as soon as it was finished (can you tell I was excited by the possibility to make a backup & share with my friends without having to worry about damage to the DVD+R/W?? Hahaha) as they visit? Anyway, I'll report back my findings..I'm currently wathing the documentory.
Thanks, JDobbs...you've done an excellent job, but not just with this release but everything else. :)
(More Tests to run AFTER the 4th is over..)

The DVD has sections where you can select which angle you want to see while playing in a stand alone player with the arrow keys. Or via mouse with a software player. As you're watching a ILVU section, you can see the BOV while watching the main part. Follow?
However, the "buttons" are gone watching the test. The angle button must be pressed to switch. So, if I watch "O Baterista" which is the Neil Peart (peert) drum solo, or any of the other MX MULIANGLE parts of the DVD.
Let me know if you need more detail.

Thanks. I'll check out the BOV code as it applies to ILVU and see what I can find.

Now with RC2 I'm getting Runtime Error "63" (Bad Record Number) while rebuilding while using No Compression.

Same version but this time using CCE SP Trial with Advanced Expert Settings set to 2. In 1 click mode. Shows no problems.
Playback on a stand alone DVD player, PowerDVD 5, Media Player Classic 6.4.8.3, however is the same as previously stated.

v1.00 RC4.1 encode with CCE (2 pass) just fine, but the large ILVUs has a slight hesitation with software & stand alone DVD player when switching angles with BOV while playing a segment. Otherwise, it looks like dropped audio problem is gone.
v1.00 RC5 fails with a Run-time error "52" (Bad filename or #) in No Compresson mode & CCE preperation mode.
Would you like logs?

Well, something I changed makes that error a lot more likely. This is the third report I've gotten. Looks like I may have to build an RC5.1... :(

Reasons for not going to Movie Theaters anymore (sad): Commercials I paid NOT to see, clueless people with Cell Phones, others whom chatter constantly.Ain't it the truth... it's amazing that $30 for tickets and popcorn can't cover a movie without commercials.

When I read from Doom9's main page, "Theater attendance is lower than in previous years. [Edited as you get the idea]" my 1st thought was...Videos games may be a reason but I have tons of acquaintances, business related friends, even personal friends & family...& the huge majority blame it on what you quoted from me...NOT video games & definitally not piracy (I do like how Doom9 reports..hehe).
Go to see a show on the Big Screen used to be a HUGE pass-time for my friends & I...but the annoyances sure have killed it. Something I forgot to Add to my sig, hehe, I'm not DEAF by any means but coming out from a movie now sure makes me FEEL that way. If they'd police the rude people, & other problem areas, then I think people would return to the Big Screen, I know I would. :) I used to love watching first run movies. How times change & rudeness has grown. Prices aren't exactly cheap but that's another story.
Why don't the movie theaters get it?
....Anyway, I figured I'd play around with the previous version, RC4.1 & HC with Quality/Speed FAST checked & 1 Pass CQ VBR. I got this "Error: File V02_Q_ANALYSIS shows completed, but no .M2V file exists. Aborted." However when I click Ok DVD Pro "flashes" a couple times as if to hurry through the rest of the process & shows Pref is finished waiting for encoding.
This is the log if you're interested with more stuff after it. I did delete everything inside the D2VAVS directory before prepairing, just to make sure nothing was left over from the CCE tests.

[17:59:41] Phase I, PREPARATION completed in 18 minutes.
Now I turned off One Pass CQ VBR & left Speed FAST on, & had no problems. So it could've just been the conflic with One Pass. Anyway, just FYI. :)
So I'll try this HC render & see how the DVD 2 turns out. If okay, I'll try it with RC 5 update.
Oh yes...Thanks So much fot the awesome program! I'd buy ya some brews if I could, but since I cannot I'll send another donation soon. :)
Cheers!

There was a pretty important issue with OPV on ILVU sources that was fixed in RC5. I was never really planning on anyone doing OPV with ILVU (it is really a bad idea on multi-angled sources). But I fixed the problem anyway. OPV is probably acceptable with seamless branching, though...

since so many problems, even if opv is selected, is there anyway to force ilvu sections to 2 pass just to avoid the issue? in general they arent very big and the added time would be minimal.
