Neither the email notice for 1.00RC1, nor the sticky FAQ's and Installation/Setup info on the forum make clear whether you must:
a) Uninstall the previous version of DVD-RB (0.93.2) before installing 1.00RC1,
- or -
b) Just install 1.00RC1 over the existing 0.93.2 installation and copy the new key to the RB folder.
Which is the correct method of installation? Thanks.

You can do either, otherwise just the updated .exe files wouldn't be available for download, only the whole package. :)

I believe, JDobbs has a typo in his email, because in the the text portion of the email, the updates referred to are for version 0.93.2, however, the http link (after more carefully re-reading the email) refers to updates for version 1.00RC1.

Yep -- I see there is a reference to 93.2 -- I'll get that corrected.

My advice is to use the New Installer... it has new features:
- It creates the necessary registry entries that registers ".rbd" files as Rebuilder files. When you save a project you can re-load it to Rebuilder by double click the project file and all the definitions will pass to Rebuilder.
I guess jdobbs forgot about that on the changelog :D

I think it's just hard to be overly clear about. Technically, the updates are for version 0.93.2. DVD-RB 1.00RC1 doesn't have any updates available for it yet because it's new. I guess we could take that one either way.

JDobbs, I could be wrong about this, :scared: but you might want to recheck the email notice's link to the zip file update only.
While the link to the full install and the link to the zip file update have different file names, the actual file downloaded from the zip file link is identical in name and file size to the full install version. :)
