Two passes

Hi all!


I'd like to know if there are some settings that I should disable or enable in the first pass instead of the second pass, in the last Xvid version

Why would you want to do that? Don't change the settings between passes, XviD is intelligent enough to know whatever is not needed during the first pass and turn them off automatically (this is transparent to the user).

Ok thanks cause i read that adaptive quant had to be unactivated during first pass or the results would be really ugly

Where did you read that? That is wrong.

I can't remeber but it was on a site that aimed to help people to configure xvid codec : Failed !!
