Hello

I’m getting sound errors in Tarzan 2; it’s not off by a couple of seconds. There seem to be an early/late play of sound effects. I.e. there would be a sudden burst of bird noises that should not be there. The DVD plays fine in my pc but not in my ps2.
I’m using 2.50

It's ntsc, and I did it with dvd-rb .93.2 and AviSynth 2.5 Hope this helps.

In DVD-RB the seetings are
VBR_BIAS 25
Quality Pr 32
Pass 2

Any help?

This would be the correct place -- CCE isn't involved in the sound processing at all. All DVD-RB really does is take it intact from the original and insert it at the appropriate point in the new stream based upon the system clock reference (SCR). The only time the PTS (presentation time stamp) is changed is when it is adjusted to match changes in the video stream.

Are you saying it's only sound effects that are off -- but lip sync, etc. is ok?

That's it. and it's all the time. I'm going to play it on 2 other stand alone players and an xbox to see what happens.

It happens on the xbox to. It seems to be a set of 4 different sounds effects that are played in the same order at about every 2-3 min. Elephants, birds, drums, and a snort.

Hello,

So are the players at fault I did try it in an xbox and it had the errors or is it a bad burn, or something else?
