I used Rockas installer to install DVD-RB Pro.
There is small selection of matrices I can choose from DVD-RB Pro directly, but what if I'd like to try HCEnc built-in HC matrix? Where do I put HC.ini so that DVD-RB takes that in count when passing parameters to HCEnc. I'd like to let DVD-RB to pass most of the parameters, but still be able to change few on my own.

When done Prepare phase i don't see HC.ini in D2VAVS folder, but when I hit Encode - and then abort encoding and look to D2VAVS folder, I see HC.ini there with parameters DVD-RB passes to HCEnc.

Edit: typo

If what you want to do is to try a different Matrix there is a better way of during it IMO.
If you download the "Rebuilder Matrix Editor" by Rockas, you will have unlimited Matrices from which to choose. In other words, you can import matrices into DVD-RB Pro. I have about 40 matrices in Rebuilder.
You can get the Rebuilder Matrix Editor Here. (http://dvd-rb.dvd2go.org/modules.php?name=Downloads&d_op=viewdownload&cid=24) Version 0.1.8

First setup the Matrix Editor, follow directions about pointing to the matrix folder etc. then you can import .XCM, .CQM, and text matrices directly into DVD-RB Pro. You can get a Zipped Matrix Folder Here. (http://forum.doom9.org/attachment.php?attachmentid=4081)
The HC matrix is not in that one but I have it around somewhere. Just have to locate it if this is the way you want to go.

Regards,:)

edit: Found it. You will find HC Matrix in This Zip Folder Here (http://www.ligh.de/software/qmatrix.zip) along with many others.
