View Full Version : Combine audio/video without re-encoding?

Hi, I extracted/encoded a series of videos from a DVD into mpeg1 files. However, in Tmpegenc I clicked on "ES" rather than "System", which means each file is now m1v and mp2, eg, a video which was supposed to be video.mpg now has

video.m1v
video.mp2

I was wondering if there is anyway to combine the two elementary streams into one file (playabe on VLC)? I tried VirtualDub and convert to mkv but it decreases my mpg files from 80mb to 45mb, and it wasn't even playable on zplayer. I think it's because it was in a mpeg encode rather than avi...

Any other tools i can use to combine the two ES without re-encoding?

Thanks a lot
Ray
