so....
I've been using divx 5.2 pro without problems (mostly) with virtualdub.
however, after a few weeks i will begin to get the above message - even though i know the source is fine.
when this happens i uninstall the codec, re-install it, and all is working.
now i've tried using divx 6 and you've guessed it - the message is back.
and re-installing doesnt help.
as i know the source is fine - a PAL sourced AVI of correct attributes, i'm guessing something on the pc is screwed - something that remains even when the codec is unistalled.
is this a known issue? - and if so is there a solution?
thanks!
