This post has been fixed, I was tired when I was cutting and pasting. I have the excact command lines now from the BeSweet log, the logs are at the end.

For some strange reason I am getting odd results from BeSweetGUI when I try to create:

32bit (6) Mono Waves

I only get one file with no extension. Here is the command line:

c:\program files\belight-0.22_beta_4\azidts\azidts.exe -core( -input D:\book\chapter1.dts -output D:\book\chapter1 - New - [29.06.2005] - [17.49.17]- -6chfloat -logfilea C:\Program Files\BeLight-0.22_beta_4\BeSweet.log )

and the one resulting file with no extension:

chapter1 - New - [29.06.2005] - [17.49.17]-

(Yes I know I have my besweetGUI in my BeLight folder, that is not the problem)

--------------------------------------------------------------

when I click 'back' in the BeSweetGUI and check

16bit (6) Mono Waves

I get six files just like I should. Here is the command line:

c:\program files\belight-0.22_beta_4\azidts\azidts.exe -core( -input D:\book\chapter1.dts -output D:\book\chapter1 - New - [29.06.2005] - [17.51.21]- -6ch -logfilea C:\Program Files\BeLight-0.22_beta_4\BeSweet.log )

and the resluting files:

chapter1 - New - [29.06.2005] - [17.51.21]-C.wav
chapter1 - New - [29.06.2005] - [17.51.21]-FL.wav
chapter1 - New - [29.06.2005] - [17.51.21]-FR.wav
chapter1 - New - [29.06.2005] - [17.51.21]-LFE.wav
chapter1 - New - [29.06.2005] - [17.51.21]-SL.wav
chapter1 - New - [29.06.2005] - [17.51.21]-SR.wav

Maybe I am getting tired, is there something I am not doing right here or is there an error in BeSweetGUI or in AZIDTS?

I wanted to check to make sure I had the most recent versions of AZIDTS and BeSweetGUI as DSPGuru says to do and I found more interesting stuff:

The top of my BeSweetGUI says its version v0.2 b1, and the zip file on Doom9's software page is named BeSweetGUIv0.7b5.zip. When I unzip and install the file, BeSweetGUI says I still have v0.2 b1. :(

http://www.doom9.org/index.html?/software.htm

To make matters worse, I did a web search for BeSweetGUI figuring there was some mixup on Doom9's download page and found v0.7 b8 on afterdawn.com, but when I unzip it it also still says v0.2 b1 at the top!

http://www.afterdawn.com/software/audio_software/audio_tools/besweetgui.cfm

I checked the MD5SUM on the v0.2 b1 from afterdawn.com against the v0.2 b1 from Doom9 softwarepage and they don't match :(

To top off the whole cake when I go to the BeSweet Homepage, there is a link there to a site in Germany for BeSweetGUI v0.7 b4 and it says it is v0.2 b1 when I unzip and run it too!

http://dspguru.doom9.net/

I'm REALLY confused here :/

I don't know what you do but the download links work just fine!

0.7b4 GUI is in the according archive!
Perhaps you should first CLEAR your destination folder and then unzip again!
You mixed up some things badly!

For DTS decoding to mono WAVs you've got to have WinDVD pro retail purchased version!

Or use Foobar2000 with DTS plugin to decode

OK, I see what it is, I was using the WIZARD, and the wizard opens a different window, and the top says v0.2 b1 - if I chose to not use the wizard, then the top of the window says the current version, so the error is just if you use the wizard.

Now, any advice on how to get "32bit (6) Mono Waves" using the wizard, (my main problem is detailed above)?
