It seems that you can BUY DVD-RB.

What are the advantages and how and where can you get it.

Is it still missing essential options as the freeware version of DVD-RB ?

Please help,

I always thought DVD-RB was for free, cause it isn't even up half to the options DVDSHRINK has, although output quality is MUCH BETTER.

Van anybody tell something more about this?

I Also see DVD-RB-PRO, is this the commercial version ?

Thanx.

i must have missed it where dvd-rb went on sale - i know you can donate and get the pro version which does have a lot more options in it - i think i read that jdobbs may one day make dvd-rb commercial (man has to get back on what he has invested) but im sure he will tell us his plans in due time

jdobbs on his website:
When DVD-RB Pro is released as a final product (version 1.00), VIPs who have donated at least $10.00 (or equivalent time and effort) will become members of the DVD Rebuilder charter team -- and will receive version updates for the life of the product. Those waiting until official release will be required to pay the $29.95 commercial price (happening very soon).

I think I'm going to donate 10$ tommorow.

It's almost nothing and the DVD-RB-PRO seems to more DVDSHRINK like, which is exacltly what I wanted.

I always thought DVD-RB was for free, cause it isn't even up half to the options DVDSHRINK has, although output quality is MUCH BETTER.DVD Rebuilder is designed to give the highest possible quality. The numerous useless options are secondary to that goal.

This is about the fourth post that I've read in which you make these kinds of comments. I'd appreciate it if you'd please stop, you're starting to hurt my feelings.

DVD Rebuilder is NOT DVD Shrink -- and it was never meant to be.

Ok... reality check.. hey, even Superman has been accused on occasion of being "faster than a speeding bullet"

Do you think this is considered off-topic?

ok, I never will mention DVDSHRINK again.
It was my dissatisfaction with the movie I compiled that forced me to search for an alternative and so I found it with DVDREBUILDER.

apfraats posted the above on January 9th 2005 @ 09:54 in this, the Rebuilder forum.

So apfraats, just do as you have previously said and NEVER mention DVDShrink in this forum again!

Besides, your comparing apples and oranges ie. transcoding and encoding.
