Updated:
Nu-Qmatic 1.3b: Now Nu-Qmatic is an integral app bundled with ProCalc (http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?t=96834) pack. And you must to download the whole packet, but you can still use it as an independant application.
Maybe you want to see the logs first:
ProCalc/NuQmatic project 1 log (http://prodater64.vmesquita.com/Project001.html)
ProCalc/NuQmatic project 2 log (http://prodater64.vmesquita.com/Project002.html)
Nu-Qmatic is, mainly, a prediction tool for Q encoding with NuEnc 0.21 test version (http://www.geocities.com/pcdanpos/files/NuEnc-021-versao-teste.zip).
But also is a control panel to call DVDDecrypter, DVD2AVI or DGIndex, AC3 Delay Corrector, BeSweet, SubRip and NuEnc.
Tested in Windows XP.
Your avs scripts must to load video sources (any valid instruction) in the following way:
video=mpeg2source(...)
last=video

(Thanks to ImageShack for Free Image Hosting (http://www.imageshack.us))
Warning: This tool is not intended to do 1:1 DVD backups. This is a NuEnc issue. It don't fit a whole 4.7Gb DVD with only one film. Minimal is 2:1 backups. Some times when doing 2:1 backups with ProCalc (http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?t=96834), doubt to available space proportional allocation, maybe NuEnc won't be able to fit a given space. In those cases, ProCalc will switch from Nu-Qmatic to HC Encoder 2 Pass VBR mode, and you will obtain an almost perfect final sized stream.
Downloads
ProCalc 0.3b and Nu-Qmatic 1.3b Mirror 1 (http://prodater64.spymac.net/Files/ProCalc_0.3b_setup.exe).
ProCalc 0.3b and Nu-Qmatic 1.3b Mirror 2 (http://rapidshare.de/files/3010866/ProCalc_0.3b_setup.exe.html).
AC3 Delay Corrector (http://www.free-codecs.com/download_soft.php?d=130&s=115).
You need VB6 runtime routines. (http://members.w-link.net/~jsss/vbrun60sp6.exe) (Only if you have not it yet).
All other software needed for sure you will can find out it in an easy way, if you still don't have it.
Functions:
1 - Calls DVDDecrypter, or any other that you set the path to.
2 - Calls DVD2AVI or DGIndex.
3 - Calls AC3 Delay Corrector.
4 - Performs massive AC3 delay correction.
5 - Performs massive audio conversion, AC3 to AC3 or almost any audio format avi contained to mp2. (This function won't be discussed here, if you want to know please PM me)
6 - Calls BeSweet.
7 - Calls SubRip.
8 - Batchlist encoding function.
9 - Restores previous batchlist.
10 - Edit batchlist.
11 - Edit avs script.
12 - Runs only prediction.
13 - Calls calcumatic for avg btr and final size calculations.
14 - Calls NuEnc for settings.
15 - While encoding popups dynamic log file and also you can see a cmd window log. If not encoding popups all log files in working folder.
16 - Edit NuEnc matrix.ini file.
17 - Adds matrices to matrix.ini file with CQME.
18 - Uses Incredible's (THX) slicer function with "One Pass Ping-Pong Prediction" (OPPPP) disigned by myself.
19 - You can set slicer values (percentage 6, 8 10) that will do an OPPPP whose ping and pong will be 3,4 and 5% respectively).
20 - Encodes at given Q.
Known issues:
1 - Despite NuEnc accepts floating point Q values, I can't send it by command line as the encoder only takes, in this way, integer values.
2 - Despite I've tested PeterCheat prediction formulas and also Peter1234 ones, even with a 6% prediction I can't reach and exact final size. NuEnc tends to undersize. For that reason I corrected calculated Quality with an extra sample encoding in such form that final size almost always oversizes. Then Rejig is applied if needed. All tested films went between don't needs of Rejig at all, and needs of Rejig, level always over 96%. Almost all streams match desired final size with high precission, worse case tested don't reached -2%.
3 - You can't do a 1:1 DVD backup.
Instruction are showed by tooltips, but anyway I want to explain 2 functions.
1 - Adding a matrix to matrix.ini file: Pressing http://img159.echo.cx/img159/5024/screenshot5lh.png button you will call CQME program. Then you can add your owns matrix values or import a matrix:
http://img159.echo.cx/img159/1858/screenshot0ma.png
Then you must to export it, File, export, Text (Comma Separated Values)
and select a name for your file:
http://img159.echo.cx/img159/2453/screenshot7qz.png
and save it as "comma separated values" file (.csv) in Nu-Qmatic folder:
http://img209.echo.cx/img209/9251/screenshot6pm.png
Set export options as the pic shows:
http://img158.echo.cx/img158/2682/screenshot1mz.png
Then a when you close CQME, all created csv files will be added to NuEnc matrix.ini file with the name you give to your csv file. (in this case KVCD Notch).
In Nu-Qmatic folder you will find a matrix for animes with wich do test the function.
2 - Massive AC3 delay correction: When you have several ac3 files with delay, put it in same folder. Set this folder in Paths tab and press http://img209.echo.cx/img209/9163/screenshot6cw.png button.
All your delayed AC3 files will be fixed by AC3 Delay Corrector.
